Fernando leads Stratēon’s Growth, Marketing & Sales Practices , as well as the Consumer Packaged Good practice, working with consumer and retail brands to drive transformational growth through sharper strategies and stronger capabilities.

Fernando forges deep relationships with the companies he helps, finding critical paths through complex problems and creating growth advantages. In addition to his extensive knowledge and experience, he also brings deep passion for creating a diverse and inclusive culture to his work.

Fernando started his career at Deutsche Bank, building a strong analytical and financial foundation. He then led and transformed businesses at PepsiCo, Nike, Reckitt Benckiser, British American Tobacco, Imperial Brands, Harley-Davidson Grupo BMC, Conagra Brands, and Grupo Bachoco, operating at local, regional, and global levels.

His experience spans across the food, snacks, groceries, pet food, household products, tobacco, retail, sports, and motorcycle industries, where he has held several roles including Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Managing Director / General Manager, and Board Member.

This cross-industry, multi-region perspective is core to how he advises business owners on growth, relevance, and resilience, serving as a voice for the industry, and bringing domain expertise, innovative frameworks, services, and solutions to help clients stay ahead of their fast-changing environment.

Fernando has served in the Boards of publicly traded companies, such as Grupo Bachoco, and two of its subsidiaries ,SASA in Mexico, and OK Foods Inc. in the US.

He has also served in the boards of privately held family owned companies such as Harley-Davidson Grupo BMC, and Triumph Motorcycles SAPI de CV.

He currently sits in the board of two mid-size family-owned conglomerates and provides Independent Advisory Board services to another 3 companies (in the CPG, Automotive, Technology, Manufacturing and Retail industries).
